Irina Mezhov completed her studies at the State Conservatory of Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan, where she specialised in the instruction of piano and music theory. Aside from teaching, Irina has also performed as an accompanist, working with soloist musicians ranging from violinists to vocalists. This experience, along with her expertise gained from her studies, allows her to enrich her lessons with practical and theoretical advice, which allowed her to work at specialist music schools for approximately 35 years.
Her accomplishments aside, Irina is a seasoned teacher who is capable of giving piano instruction in many styles, including classical, jazz, contemporary and modern music (just to name a few). Having spent the last 25 years together with Music Time School, she specialises in AMEB exams, children and adult learning, sight reading, and music awareness. All in all, Irina is a teacher who enjoys assisting her students in discovering and advancing their musical talents, and it is safe to say that her students are in good hands.
